RIP ‘Shack – Happy Days’
A Special Commemorative Print Release after Hurricane Sandy
We were all sad that our entrance landmark, ‘the Shack‘, to LBI was washed away by Hurricane Sandy. That breathtaking scene always provided a serene gateway to all of us who traveled to LBI. The Shack, had a beauty all of its own and made you realize you were at the Jersey shore and experiencing a bit of ‘old island’ history. The serene marshes that surrounded it, posed an instant relaxing moment. The one time fishing and hunting club, the old shack had a large water barrel and “catwalks” to the bay edge. A percentage of the sales will be donated to the LBI Fire Companies & EMS. Each print certificate will bear the LBI Rising Logo by Michele Wright Guerriero, Shore Design.
